The Essex Golfer is Just 2 thirty something average golfers sharing our golfing experiences with anyone who’ll listen.
The idea is through the winter were going to be visiting a whole load of golf ranges and give our opinions on them and make our own top 10.
Then when it gets lighter again we’ll do the same with as many courses that we can fit in.
Well we reviewed a few ranges and I’m almost getting the hang of writing a bit(thankfully we have spell check).
I thought I give you a bit of Info on the 2 old has beens that are doing the reviews.
Now I find it quite difficult writing about yourself because you don’t want to sound like you think your great but at the same time you like to give the impression that you do have half an idea.
Well I’m Peter 37( we’ll try and get pictures when i work out how to do that) I’ve been playing golf since I was 12, at best i’ve played off a handicap of 13 which was around the 1996/1997 era, back in the day we were younger singular and carried a few stones less. Since then got married had a couple of kids and golf has just been 3 or 4 times a year if I was lucky. I’ve played at many courses over the years and even had my stag party at the Belfry. I also manged a round of golf 2 hours before I got married.
I’ve only played twice this year and now I’m going to be playing off soomething around the 22 mark. This year I’m determined to get back to the playing every week which is why I’m doing this If I make the range every week then I can make the course in the evening when the summer pretends to be here.

Barry also 37 , I’m waiting for Barry to give me what he’d like to say about himself so don’t be holding your breath. Barry is the Guy who if you tell him the tee time is 7 o’clock he’ll be there at 7.01.
